2024年2月26日，云南大学高等教育研究院与泰国沙功那空皇家大学的学术交流会议在东陆校区成功举行。本次会议由高等教育研究院比较与国际教育中心主任吴玫副教授主持。

国际合作与交流处副处长沈芸女士为会议做了热情的欢迎致辞，介绍了云南大学的概况以及与泰国几所大学的合作与交流情况，并对与沙功那空皇家大学的未来合作充满期待。

随后，高等教育研究院院长王菊研究员介绍了学校教育学科的发展概况和未来目标。王院长对沙功那空皇家大学的教育管理博士项目表示了浓厚的兴趣，并强调了两所学校之间相互学习和交流的可能性。职业与继续教育学院党委书记姚铁军介绍了职业教育学科发展情况，表达了与泰国在职业教育领域合作的愿望。

沙功那空皇家大学前校长Watana Suwannatrai博士对云南大学热情的接待表示感谢，分享了国际中文教育在沙功那空皇家大学的情况，指出国际中文人才在该大学的迫切需求，并希望能通过云南大学职业与继续教育学院的成人教育项目为泰国沙功那空皇家大学的教职员工提供国际汉语培训。教育管理博士项目主任Chaiya Pawabutra博士分享了教育管理博士项目课程和论文的学时构成情况，以及不同教育背景的学生通过博士学习获得的发展。

经过简短的交流，会议在温馨的氛围中圆满结束，双方一致认为云南大学与泰国沙功那空皇家大学在教育领域有着很好的合作潜力。学术交流会议前，代表团一行还在校史馆卫魏老师的陪同下参观了东陆校园。

Successful Academic Exchange Conference between Yunnan University and Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University

February 26, 2024 - Yunnan University, Donglu Campus

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the academic exchange conference between Research Institute of Higher Education at Yunnan University and Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University from Thailand was successfully held at Yunnan University's Donglu Campus. The conference was chaired by Dr. Wu Mei, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Comparative and International Education at Yunnan University's Institute of Higher Education.

The conference began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Shen Yun, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office at Yunnan University. She extended a hearty welcome to the delegation from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and provided an overview of Yunnan University, as well as the collaboration and exchange activities between Yunnan University and several universities in Thailand, expressing support for future cooperation and exchanges between the two universities.

Following this, Professor Wang Ju, Dean of the Institute of Higher Education at Yunnan University, introduced the academic discipline of education at the university. Professor Wang expressed strong interest in collaborating on Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University's doctoral program in educational administration and emphasized the potential for mutual learning and exchange between the two institutions. Yao Tiejun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Vocational and Continuing Education at Yunnan University, discussed the field of vocational education and expressed the desire to further collaborate with Thailand in this area.

Dr. Watana Suwannatrai, former President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, and Dr. Chaiya Pawabutra, Director of the Educational Administration Doctoral Program, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and shared insights gained during their visit. Dr. Chaiya introduced the structure of their doctoral program, course work and thesis, highlighting how students from diverse educational backgrounds can enhance their work through the program. Dr. Watana shared insights into the demand for international Chinese Language education at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and expressed hope for collaboration with Yunnan University's College of Vocational and Continuing Education to provide international Chinese language training for their faculty and staff.

After a brief exchange of ideas, the conference concluded on a positive note, with both sides recognizing the potential for future cooperation between Yunnan University and Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University in the field of education.

The delegation also visited the Donglu Campus with the guidance of Dr. Wei Wei from the university's history museum.
